For 6 servings

  • 5 apples (I use Pink Lady)
  • 100g (1 cup) (gluten-free) oats
  • 125g (1 1/4 cup) almond meal/almond flour
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 handful of crushed pecans
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Salt


Step 1

Set the oven’s temperature to 180 C (356 F). Apples should be peeled and chopped into small cubes.

Put them in a pan with some ground cinnamon and coconut oil, and simmer them. They’ll turn golden and caramelized as a result; wonderful!

Step 2

In the meantime, combine the oats, almonds that have been ground, and coconut oil in a big bowl.

Add 1 tbsp ground cinnamon, nuts, maple syrup, and a dash of salt after mixing everything.

Combine once more. Crumble the mixture using your fingers if it’s too sticky.
