Baked Chicken With Olive Garden Dressing

601

Baked Chicken With Olive Garden Dressing is a success because of the good taste and purity of ingredients. This healthy and natural food promotes better health. The Olive Garden tosses this chicken in an Italian dressing before it’s baked and then adds croutons on top with melted Parmesan cheese. The result is a chicken dish that tastes very similar to one served at the restaurant.

Olive Garden Dressing Sheet Pan Chicken Dinner

This Olive Garden Dressing Sheet Pan Chicken Dinner, which only requires five ingredients, is incredibly flavorful and simple to put together. An all-in-one, one-pan supper is something you have to enjoy.

How simple is today’s Olive Garden Dressing Sheet Pan Chicken Dinner, which only calls for five ingredients? With sheet pan Italian chicken and vegetables, it’s difficult to go wrong. Bottled dressing is your shortcut cheat for flavor & softness in this recipe.

Sheet pan Italian chicken & veggies with Olive Garden dressing

Although I haven’t really made Italian dressing chicken in years, conversations about using Olive Garden dressing in sheet pan chicken dinners recently appeared in the Almost All ALDI Facebook group, which served as inspiration for today’s recipe. With just five ingredients that I happened to have on hand, I was able to make dinner today using this quick marinade, but you could change it up. For illustration:

  • Substitute chopped potatoes for mushrooms & halve the green beans — start the potatoes cooking 10-15 minutes before everything else, though, so that they get cooked all the way through
  • Mix bread crumbs or Panko in with the Parmesan cheese topping
  • Marinate the chicken longer, to let the flavor really permeate

You could add extra garlic, you could change up the veggies… make it your own!

ALDI restaurant style Italian dressing

You can also use a knockoff of the Olive Garden dressing, like the Italian dressing from ALDI’s Tuscan Garden restaurant. I simply favor the original, original dressing.

Olive Garden Dressing Sheet Pan Chicken Dinner

Olive garden dressing chicken ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Olive Garden (or equivalent) Italian dressing
  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 16 oz fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 8 oz mushrooms, cut in halves or thirds (depending on size)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions

Set the oven’s temperature to 425. Cooking spray and foil are used to line a baking sheet with a rim.

Into a big bowl, pour 1 cup of Olive Garden dressing. Toss the chicken with the dressing to coat after trimming and cutting it into bite-sized pieces. While you prepare the vegetables, let the meat marinade.

toss chicken and veggies in dressing

Green beans should be washed, with the ends trimmed, and then placed in the bowl with the chicken. The mushrooms should be washed, chopped, and then added to the bowl. Gently toss everything to evenly distribute the dressing over all of the vegetables.

On the prepared baking sheet, arrange the chicken and vegetables in a single layer as closely as you can, throwing away any extra marinade.

Cook for nine minutes at 425 degrees.

top chicken and vegetables with Parmesan cheese

Remove the pan from the oven, stir the chicken and veggies, then sprinkle everything evenly with shredded Parmesan.

The sheet pan supper should be cooked for an additional nine minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly done.

It should be noted that by breaking up the chicken into bite-sized pieces, you may cook the entire dish at once on a single sheet pan.

To simply trim and chop the raw chicken, I use a nice set of kitchen shears.

Just five ingredients, but so much flavor

Although it was very difficult for me to refrain, you only need five items to make a delicious meal. You only need that salty punch of Parmesan to finish the Olive Garden dressing because it already has so much taste; exactly like when you top your salad at a restaurant with cheese.

You need to understand that Middle School Guy, a jaded teenager, gave this the rating of “not bad.” The real proof that this simple sheet pan dinner will appeal to teenage boys is when he then started to clear his plate.

I hope your family had as much fun as mine did.

View the wildly popular Ninja Foodi Olive Garden Italian Dressing Chicken recipe! We sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

I’ve enjoyed going to the Olive Garden for soup, salad, and breadsticks ever since I was a young child.

This used to be my weekend ritual at one time in my life.

Every weekend, I was almost at the Olive Garden!

The meal at the Olive Garden isn’t really Italian, I know, I know, I know. You are correct; it is not! However, the salad is excellent because of the salad dressing!

Imagine how happy I was to find Olive Garden salad dressing at the supermarket.

How is this possible?

Yes!

I can now prepare “Olive Garden” salads in my own kitchen :). I used to get the Olive Garden Italian salad dressing from the restaurant before it was available in supermarkets!

This dish mixes boneless, skinless chicken breasts with the mouthwatering Olive Garden Italian salad dressing. You can essentially use any variety of chicken you like. This recipe calls for boneless, skinless chicken breasts, which are what we often eat.

After the chicken has been cooked, feel free to serve it with your preferred side dishes. I opted to top everything up with some extra sauce and served it with some spaghetti and green beans. In all honesty, I was pleasantly pleased that there wasn’t an overabundance of Italian dressing because I honestly expected there to be! In no way!

TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE:

  1. You are free to use the chicken of your choice. You could use bone-in chicken breasts, chicken thighs, legs, or wings for the boneless, skinless chicken breasts I used. You must add a few minutes to the cooking time if you decide to use bone-in chicken breasts or dark meat chicken.
  2. You can swap out 1 cup of salad dressing with 1 cup of chicken broth if you like a milder Italian dressing flavor.
  3. You can make this dish with four or five chicken breasts without having to up the salad dressing proportions.
  4. There is frequently a lot of dressing or cheese sauce left behind because the Ninja Foodi needs liquid to pressure cook the chicken.
  5. Therefore, you don’t need to add more liquid to the pot if you wish to cook more than 2 or 3 chicken breasts.
  6. Ensure that the liquid in the pot is just enough to cover the chicken breasts about halfway.

Olive Garden Dressing Parmesan Chicken Thighs

Have you ever tried the dressing from the Olive Garden salad in a bottle? I can’t get enough of the store-bought, bottled Olive Garden salad dressing. It’s such a tasty sauce! Although I’ve tried it on a variety of recipes, my favorite one is this Olive Garden Dressing and Parmesan Chicken Thigh recipe. My loved ones adored this chicken! For this recipe, just four ingredients are required. For this dish, I’ve provided oven, slow cooker, and Instant Pot baking instructions. The simplest dish to prepare for a busy weeknight is this one!

I bought some Olive Garden Brand Italian Salad Dressing when I noticed it starting to appear in stores since I have always enjoyed cooking with Italian salad dressing. I really loved the flavor! However, frying chicken thighs in it turned out to be amazing! This tastes wonderful on salad and spaghetti! This salad dressing was viral on tiktok last fall, long before I joined tiktok, I discovered after making the recipe. Although it is not necessary, I have seen people combine this dressing with a block of cream cheese.

This recipe is so easy!   All you need is:

6 chicken thighs in one package. Chicken breasts with no bones or skin are another option.

One cup of Italian Salad Dressing from Olive Garden. the store-bought bottle of olive garden dressing.

a single box of grape tomatoes

Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup.

Optional ingredients: To increase the flavor of this dish, try adding 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, a few tablespoons of Italian spice, or a dash of black pepper. To slightly improve the flavor, you may also add a few ounces of chicken stock, a few slices of onion, or some lemon juice. Other tasty garnishes are olives or pepperoncinis.

This chicken tastes great on:

  • penne pasta
  • farro
  • salad
  • polenta
  • alongside garlic bread
  • over creamy pasta like chicken alfredo

on its own!

Remember to cool the pasta or grain according to the package directions for the best results.

Instant Pot Instructions

  1. Select Saute on your Instant Pot. Dress the salad with 1/2 cup.
  2. Put chicken in the pressure cooker’s inner pot.
  3. For one minute on each side, brown the chicken thighs.
  4. Tomatoes and 1/2 cup salad dressing should be added to your Instant Pot’s inner pot.
  5. To make sure that nothing is adhering to the bottom, kindly give it a quick stir.
  6. Snap the Instant Pot lid shut and lock it. the valve to the “sealing” position.
  7. 12 minutes of high pressure cooking. Pressure with Rapid Release.
  8. Cheese Parmesan, add

Slow Cooker Instructions

  1. Put chicken thighs in your slow cooker. Add tomatoes, 1 cup of Italian dressing, and parmesan cheese to the chicken.
  2. Cook for six hours on low or four hours on high.
  3. If you’d like, sprinkle more parmesan cheese on top of the dish.

Recipe Note: The best way to consume these chicken thighs, in my opinion, is whole. If you’re planning to serve chicken over pasta, such as the slow cooker olive garden chicken pasta that has been well-liked on tiktok, you might want to shred the chicken first. After the chicken has cooked, you can shred it with two forks.

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup Olive Garden Brand Salad Dressing
  • 1 cup baby tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees.
  2. Chicken thighs, salad dressing, tomatoes, and parmesan cheese should all be combined in a baking dish.
  3. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. Take out of the oven. Before eating, sprinkle extra parmesan cheese on top.
