Step 1

Heat your iron skill with a medium-heat flame. Pour in your olive oil. Always see to it that you do not put too much olive oil or else it would be unpleasant as it will be quite too oily.

Chop your onions to tiny sizes so the flavors will be infused easily. The smaller, the better. Sauté onions under medium flame and cook until tender. You’ll know it’s tender when they turn golden.

After that onion is tender, add your ground beef, garlic, and other seasonings. Set it to low flame and stir. For the next 5 to 15 minutes, continuously stir the mixture for the ingredients to incorporate the meat well.

  • Your cooked ground beef can be kept in your freezer for the next 3 to 4 months as long as you don’t defrost.

Tips On How To Season Ground Beef For Pizza

Nothing beats having the best flavor and ingredients to a pizza. If you want to have a beef flavor, you should know how to season ground beef for pizza. Here are some of the few ways on seasoning beef for pizza.

Choosing The Right Salt

The right salt for seasoning your ground beef is kosher salt. They are easily available in your kitchen and can be dispersed easily through the meat. What I love bout kosher salt is how coarser their grains are compared to the traditional table salt. When adding salt to your ground beef, the tip is to spread it liberally to enhance the flavor without getting too salty. Using table salt may result in over-seasoning. So, I highly recommend using Kosher salt.

Pick Up The Pepper

What I love about adding peppers to my meat is the sudden intense feeling of heat that quickly disperses. That’s how I like to characterize peppers with my meat. Peppers add a little bit of spicy in your meat, but not too spicy.

If you want to add pepper, minimize the flavor by adding them to the beef before searing them. In this way, it will soften up the taste and impacts the dish quite well.

Adding Herbs At The Right Moment

When seasoning your ground beef, add herbs to the early parts of the cooking process. Herbs such as oregano, thyme, rosemary, and other known herbs. In this way, the flavors are expelled earlier for the ground beef to incorporate them along the ride. Plus, adding them at an early phase won’t be intrusive to the beef’s overall flavor.

Condiments Go A Long Way

Kitchen staples such as soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce has high concentrations of glutamates. Adding them to your ground beef adds some savory kick to your beef, thus improving the pizza’s overall texture.

Well-seasoned ground beef goes a long way if you ask me. Ground beef is the best complement to veggies and other toppers. So, if you want to make your pizza a delicious one, then try learning how to season ground beef for pizza for ultimate satisfaction.

Lastly, when you have excess ground beef, try storing them with the above instructions! In this way, the ground beef won’t easily rot and can be used for future pizza making and other food trips. Do enjoy this simple recipe on how to season ground beef for pizza!
