Each of the following lunches for weight loss come in at around 400 to 500 calories. Plus, they all have plenty of vegetables! And, they can be made in 10 minutes, so they’re perfect when prepping lunch for the kids.

A Teriyaki Bowl

This recipe serves 1 and contains 455 calories.

  1. Prepare ½ cup of quick brown rice.
  2. Mix the rice with ½ cup of frozen peas and carrots.
  3. Add in 3 or 4 ounces of diced chicken breast (tip: purchase precooked to save time).
  4. Drizzle with 3 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce.
  5. Serve with 1 cup of sliced cucumbers and an orange or 2 satsumas.

A Classic Sandwich

  1. Cut a slice of whole wheat bread in half.
