Strawberries, pineapple, and grapes are mixed together with juice and milk to make one to two smoothies.


  • ½ cup soy milk (or other milk)
  • ½ cup white grape juice
  • 1 cup strawberries, stemmed
  • ½ cup pineapple chunks
  • ½ lemon, squeezed (for tartness if desired)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Vitamin C powder (1 capsule, optional)
  • Pinch salt, preferable grey salt
  • Small handful fresh seedless grapes

Directions: Add all ingredients to blender. Blend until smooth. If you’d like an iced smoothie, blend and then add ice to desired consistency.

2. Apple Smoothie

Spark Recipes has a smoothie you need to try if you enjoy bananas and apples spread with peanut butter. Make the blended version when you need your favorite treat to be travel-friendly. It yields one smoothie.


  • 8 ounces vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
  • 1 medium apple
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seed (optional)
  • ½ of a medium frozen banana

Make it a vegan grape smoothie (& add protein!)

This grape smoothie has Greek yogurt, like many of our smoothie recipes, to load on protein and healthy probiotics. But want a vegan smoothie? Here’s what to do:

  • Use non-dairy milk for the Greek yogurt and milk (start with ¾ cup). You don’t need Greek yogurt here: though it does add some creamy body! Use a non-dairy milk like almond milk or oat milk. Coconut milk also works, but it’s high fat: consider using just ½ cup coconut milk and ¼ cup almond or oat milk.
  • Add back some protein! You’ll lose some protein from removing the yogurt. Here are some ideas for adding plant based protein to smoothies:
    • Add 1 to 2 tablespoons peanut butter, almond butter or cashew butter
    • Throw in up to 2 tablespoons chia seeds
    • Add 1 scoop protein powder

This grape smoothie is best right after you blend it up. But you can make smoothies in advance! Store them up to 1 day, refrigerated in a sealed container or a mason jar with the lid on. If it separates, just shake it up and you’re good to go!

Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie

  • 10 ounces skim milk or plain soy milk
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
  • 1 medium banana

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

  • 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 1 6-ounce carton vanilla low-fat yogurt
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Green Blast Smoothie

  • 4 cups packaged fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 2 cups seedless green grapes
  • 1 medium banana, cut up
  • 3/4 cup seeded, chopped green sweet pepper
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice
